Radiology and Ultrasound

Edgerton Veterinary Clinic and Lakeland Veterinary Care both offer in-hospital digital radiography (x-rays) and diagnostic ultrasound imaging as services to aid in your pet's diagnostic workup.  

Ultrasound can be used in diagnosing:

• Enlarged lymph nodes or masses
• Abnormal blood chemistry or complete blood count values
• Jaundice or elevated bile acids
• Diseases of the urinary system: bladder stones, enlarged prostate, blood in the urine, straining to urinate
• Diseases of the gastrointestinal system: anorexia, vomiting, diarrhea, chronic weight loss
• Diseases of the thyroid/parathyroid gland
• Diseases of the eye: inflammation of the eye, blood in the eye, masses
• Anal gland tumors
• Diseases of the tendons and joints
• Pregnancy confirmation
• Guided aspirates or biopsies
• Heart murmurs or arrhythmias
• Coughing and exercise intolerance
